Schönes Hotel und gutes Frühstück, enttäuschender Service mit grossen Sprachbarrieren für CH Gäste.
8.0Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend. Das Hotel hat uns von der Ausstattung her sehr gut gefallen und das Frühstück war qualitativ top. Besonders positiv sind uns die durchdachten Details aufgefallen: Schirme am Eingang, angenehme normale Kleiderbügel (keine Diebstahlsicheren) im Zimmer.
− Leider gab es jedoch massive Sprachbarrieren, die den Gesamteindruck stark getrübt haben. Bereits bei der Buchung war es unmöglich auf Deutsch zu kommunizieren. Es gab weder das Bemühen, eine deutschsprachige Person hinzuzuziehen, noch bot man uns einen Rückruf an. Auch beim Frühstück sprach das Personal Englisch und verstand uns nicht. Von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel erwarten wir, dass zumindest Grundkenntnisse der Landessprache vorhanden sind oder ein zuvorkommender Service angeboten wird. Wenn von Schweizer Gästen im eigenen Land erwartet wird, dass sie sich auf Englisch anpassen müssen, empfinden wir das als mangelnde Wertschätzung gegenüber einheimischen Gästen.

10.0Das Zimmer mit Blick auf das Matterhorn, das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet und das wunderschöne SPA haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Es war eine perfekte Ferienwoche in Zermatt.

Zermatt is a car-free resort. You have to park your car in Täsch and proceed by train or taxi. During winter it is recommended to reserve a parking space in Täsch well in advance.
