Disappointing all around

Frankly, nothing positive to say for what we paid. Not cheap compared to a MUCH better hotel we booked close by. We paid almost the same and the difference in quality and service was crazy

− Stefan United States 1.0 Bad Disliked · The only thing the property has going for it is the location. The building is old and smells of old building. None of the fixturing seems updated and looks a lot older in person than in the pictures. I booked this place considering the great reviews and location. However given the warmer weather, No HVAC at all, the disappointing room, and the lack of updates all around to the building… we booked elsewhere. We asked the property manager for partial refund given we wouldn’t stay in the room at all but they declined and only offered to swap us rooms with another of the same. Additionally, we visited the room before left to leave our bag in there while we skied our final day and noticed housekeeping had not done any service the whole week. There was a towel I washed my hands with on the first day after check-in that was left as is bunched 4 days before (before we decided to book an alternate hotel). Also there was a plastic tea cup still in the trash from our first day where trash was also not cleared the whole week. To be honest it’s kind of ridiculous how bad our experience was and they never sent housekeeping to tidy the room for 4 days. There wasn’t much to do since we never slept there, but not even that was done.
