A cozy place that I grew up going to

10.0

Dear readers, I have been coming here since I was four years old and the year was 1983. I do miss a few of the old things that we had at this hotel like the In-N-Out Jacuzzi with the bar right there…. I used to order my Shirley temples and enjoy being in hot tub, but the new Jacuzzis are very nice. The updates to the rooms are great, I like the little bench table in the corner, and the rooms are spacious, great for families. The shuttle service is fantastic so convenient. It’s also so close to the airport and the town. The drivers were all excellent, super friendly and engaging. Of course you can’t be the ski in ski out, the ski rental shop right there….two restaurants at the base both were delicious. Everything was just amazing. Great weather great skiing and a great place to stay.

Great weekend at Buttermilk Mountain

10.0

You can’t beat being right at the base of Buttermilk. The easy ski in/out is unbeatable but it’s also easy access to town. I loved relaxing by the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs while watching skiers come straight down to the hotel. The heated outdoor pool and hot tubs at sunset were such a highlight — the perfect way to unwind after a day on the mountain. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The vibe is laid-back, comfortable, and approachable — such an easy way to experience Aspen without feeling over-the-top. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful Buttermilk Mountain and EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE

10.0

My son and I stayed at the Inn at Aspen for four nights, and we visited with friends staying downtown (a few minutes away). Our room was decorated beautifully and we had a great view. Every front desk member and shuttle driver was kind, informative, and accommodating. The cleaning crew also kept our room tidy, which was a relief to come home to after a long day of skiing on Snowmass Mountain. My son really enjoyed the complimentary hot cocoa bar each morning. The Inn at Aspen Shuttle has an app set up like Uber, so I would type in where I want to go and it would usually only be a few minutes wait, even during the busiest week of the year (between Christmas and NYE). We would hop on and it would take us anywhere in downtown Aspen, to our dinner reservations. I recommend bringing cash to tip the super helpful/friendly shuttle drivers in case you don’t use Venmo or Zelle, which is displayed on a QR code. They made our trips back and forth to town for dinners seamless and easy! But, if you’d rather eat on-site, the BBQ restaurant has an extensive menu and the Mac and cheese tasted homemade. I am typically ready to conclude any vacation after four or five days, but I was sad to leave. It felt like home, and we really loved it there.

The Inn at Aspen is exceptional in location, views, staff, and restaurant access. Fire pit is an added bonus! Highly recommend!

Delta airlines paid for us to stay here when our flight was canceled. Horrible.

My husband and I were quietly playing cards in our room at 9 PM and someone called to complain about our noise. Not possible. The walls must be so thin.
